You're referencing the T-Mobile deal? There is indeed a standard process by which the line level credits are migrated to account level credits so that you can continue to receive them on a monthly basis.

I'm on the same boat as you, but specifically had an extra for traveling pre-covid just in case one of our phones gets stolen, lost or damaged. We had our numbers on esims, so i was also anxious about our phones crapping out on us on a vacation activity especially in the water. T-force on messenger said that as long as a simcard was never in their system as a prepaid sim, then it could be used on postpaid phones and other cellular devices like tablets.
As an fyi, when our second son's phone got stolen we were given two courtesy simcards, so had one extra. To my surprise the new simcards now have expiration dates. But for what?

For Those that Cannot get Verification Text From Best Buy

I can confirm that if you are not able to get a verification verify text from Best Buy even after you added permission for Best Buy to text you... it is clearly a 12:00am East Coast thing. I couldn't get a text from Best Buy online all day nor were they able to send me a text in store and the email option did not show up. So I went home and waited till 12:00am eastern and just was able to get a text like clockwork, on the dot.

People are insane to let BB take their photograph and their fingerprints in order to purchase a phone.

Under what circumstances is BB requesting this? Is it only for new T-Mobile accounts and only when the phones are purchased in-store?

Based on this unethical intrusiveness, I will absolutely not use T-Mobile.
