You're referencing the T-Mobile deal? There is indeed a standard process by which the line level credits are migrated to account level credits so that you can continue to receive them on a monthly basis.

Good luck!

Amm I got few 13 pro max devices for my family and T-mobile unlocked all of them with no issues. Though as many other users reported, it takes around 3-4 days to get it unlocked assuming that you didn't register the device under T-mobile.

If you register and add the device on your T-mobile account then unlocking would be instant. T-mobile rep checked the device then it says eligible to unlock, hit the unlock button and boom.

For those people who don't have Tmobile postpaid accounts then either use ATT method I guess, which its self is not 100% guaranteed.
What do you mean "register the device under T-mobile" and how?

Thanks for the information. Looks like TM going to do hard credit report pull while placing order on BB website. Are they going to do credit check for placing order? It is not clear on final check out page with EIP plan?

I have the same question too. Is that mean use my TM sim and activate the iPhone?

Not necessarily, You could be in 30 months agreement with Tmobile and still unlock your device. I have 17 lines from T-mobile, All of them under Magenta Max, the highest plan they offer, I upgraded all lines with 13 pro maxes and I unlocked all the devices and I sold half of them which helps me to pay my monthly bill.
It depends on the rep who you talk to and the reason for your unlock.
The main 2 reasons they could unlock your device is:- Your T-mobile network is very weak and so you have a backup line from a different carrier, Or you're in a vocation, military deployment.

Did you pay off all 17 13PMs or all of them under EIP when you upgraded?

You could activate the phone in Two ways, The first one is just put your sim card and it will take probably a week until T-mobile system recognizes the device and then determinate wether it's eligible un unlock or not, you could also give them a call/chat and give them your imei, - add insurance if needed- and your account will show the new phone immediately.

The first option Tmobile reps were not able to unlock the device instantly because it's not listed/registered under your account so in this case they have to create an unlocking request which will take almost a week.
The 2nd option is much quicker and the rep was able to unlock my device as little as 30 seconds. I did unlock Three phones in this way but the rest of my phones I unlock them through tfroce which take couple days and I don't mind waiting couple days anyway.

No, I didn't pay off all of the devices, There's no reason to pay it off because I got monthly credits.
The important thing is that you shouldn't get more than 2 promotional upgrades on each line, if you do then your monthly credits might stop.

If I see a nice deal, a good promotion then I can pay off 95% of the eip and then get a new eip, the reason I will pay the first EIP is to get enough credit so I can get more loan/installment.

T-mobile is the best man. Better than any other network and it's coming from someone who had Verizon and ATT last 10 years.

You have lot of lines. I have just one line with Magenta Max. Are (BB/TM) they going to do hard credit check when i sign up for upgrade. I am thinking about singing up for EIP. It is not clear if they are running my credit check.

When I try to place an order, it says "Pickup: Unavailable within 250 miles of Compton". Am I out of luck? Even though it shows "FREE Shipping: Get it by Fri, Dec 17" it doesn't give me that option. I understand they probably need trade in to happen in the store. But why can't they allow to place order that will be shipped to store?! :-(

Hey guys.I have issues with Att unlock submit.I got 2 iPhones for my friend who use Cricket currently so I activated first phone with Att sim and requested unlock and it's been a week and it's still processing…also I got email said that unlock were canceled because I haven't confirmed the email which I did because when I check a status it's says Progressing. With second IPhone I got for my friend I just activated with my old Att SIM card and he submitted unlock him self later same day but in this situation he haven't clicked to confirm the unlock on the email and now it's says Pending for few days already. With first IPhone I have been trying to submit request again and system not allowing me to because it's says there is request processing similar with second one.I don't know what to do at this point.
why people don't follow simple instructions on wiki
If you input ant att sim regardless postpaid or prepaid Att will unlock 100%I guarantee
Old att new att activated or new it does not matter

Follow instructions use you are not att customers use any Gmail account and legit phone number
Remer when you received confirm email request you may need to confirm upto 3 times because stupid att server crashed and it looks like you confirmed but att will show email imie request not confirmed

It happen to me few times in have unlock 32 iphone from bestbuy with out a single using att used and old sim as long as it att sim everything will work

Bottom line you iphone has no finance so the server will unlock as long as you confirm and re confirm again

i am getting an error for multiple order on bestbuy purchase of iPhone 13. My previous order of bestbuy was auto cancel as i did not yet got the 12 mini deliver and now i can not order again iPhone 13 from bestbuy. Do anyone know how to resolve this issue?
I have not done any trade in on my line but since the previous order was auto cancel now this issue coming.
Please help
Same problem, BBY chat rep had no idea and said it was a T-mobile issue. Confirmed there were no open orders.

A previous poster mentioned you can still go in store but becomes a bit difficult when you are trying to order a device.

I don't know about your account. But for my account, I have 3 13PMs activated using TM sim. All 3 showed not eligible for unlocked. 2 showed on TM database and 1 showed unknown. Had to contact Tforce to unlocked. Now 2 showed with unlocked lock. 3rd one still showed unknown even though it unlocked. I also have Note 20U that I bought from Samsung for more than a year and it still showed "not eligible to unlock" even though it got unlocked right after I got them. Their system is weird!

But all 17 phones that you got from BB were paid off I assume?

No, no credit check for upgrades. In order to upgrade using monthly payments your Tmobile account should have enough limit to borrow the new device.
