My daughter has this toy. She loves it! Sleeps with it every night. I would say we change the batteries every 2-3 weeks but it only goes on at bedtime so maybe that is why the batteries last longer for me. Still overall a great and fun toy. I would buy again.

My daughter has one and I agree that it eats batteries. I wish they made it rechargeable so I could plug it in every few days instead.

She still loves it though!

Absolutely does. I got enloop rechargeable batteries because this thing was going through batteries like water. OMG, if it wasn't for the therapy bills I'd have to pay I'd junk these things immediately. The enloop life is like 2 or 3 days on a charge now because these things have juiced them.

Not only do they eat batteries, but the one we have (not 100% sure its the same brand) has one of those little screws that lock the battery compartment closed.

Made the last minute, battery is dead at bedtime, battery swap even a bigger pain.
