I have the 280mm version that I got about 6m back for $70. It's a good AIO but the fans are awful. They are very loud from 50% speed and higher. They even had a weird whiny noise below 50% that bugged me. It ruins the deal having to replace them as soon as you get it. I was only happy with mine after buying Arctic fans for it.

You better have a big ol case to fit a 360mm radiator on the top

Is this EVGA cooler better than what I'm using now? https://smile.amazon.com/gp/produ...UTF8&psc=1

And will this work if my exhaust fans are on the top of my pc case?

I agree with the above that the CLC 280s are really, really loud.
The pumps are the same as any other Asetek OEM AIOs, but the fans need a lot of voltage to keep them running. I have to get a third-party software installed to keep it quiet (FanExpert) during idle. That can be a temporary solution but make sure you have another $30 budgeted for Corsair ML140 fans or anything quieter soon.

Only issue with the 280mm Arctic AIO is the radiator is too thick to be mounted at the top of most cases. This EVGA 280mm fits perfectly. Slightly less performance but I'd only mount a 280mm AIO on top so Arctic is a no go.

In terms of water cooling... thicker is better.
