Costco T-Mobile generally gives back tradein value back in visa/master gift card after a month or two. So it is easy for people who want pay upfront rather than waiting for credits over 2 years.

weird, when I signed up, it said I will be getting x-amount in credit. When I look at the plan, the monthly bill is the full amount with no mentioning of monthly credit. Is that normal?
Credits show up when you get billed and if delayed to second month, both months credit will be applied

I'm holding out for Costco too, my friend...
I asked as Costco last weekend and they said they will not be selling any Pixel phones.

Seems like they can't come to a consensus. Some others here and reddit have asked TForce and they told them the OnePlus 7 Pro non 5G is eligible for $450, some have been told its not. I asked live chat on tmobiles website and my rep said it is covered. Looks like we just have to wait for some people who attempted to trade theirs in to report.
Some one messed up.. how can the 7T be worth 450 and the 7 pro is not eligible. TMobile really f ed up

Maybe Costco are going to be selling the unlocked version direct? I asked at the Wireless Associates kiosk within Costco and they told me to go to the local corporate T-Mobile store.

Store associate may give you a yes/tradable but the final verdict is in the hand of the recycle company (Assurant is the name of the company)
You can, however, go to T-mobile store now, ask them to look at your screen for trade-in process, then walk out and order online. Free of charge.
Associate said it might be an under display crack. So I just went to a local repair shop to get it replaced for $40.

I think it's good enough for trade in ( the shop didn't do a good job replacing it with the aftermarket display because there's light bleed at the bottom of the phone, only visible when the phone is off and needing to be turned on.

Tmobile does not have a specific end date listed. However, This is a "pre-order" deal. Deal is likely valid until good until the phone is released on October 28th. Another deal will likely follow. Details unknown.

But don't they force you to add a new line?

yup, OP7Pro is newer and better than Note 8, but yet they offer $599.99 trade-in credit for Note 8 and only $40 for OP7Pro.
Because it's a Communist phone? US-China relationship ain't so good right now.

You can unlock the phone after 40 days of usage on T-Mobile network. I have unlocked a few before even when the phone still had payments pending.
But can you remove the T-Mobile craps that they installed on the phone? Also you will have to wait a little longer for Android updates I assume?
