Samsung has abandoned Tizen for smartwatches. They will maintain the platform, but do not expect new features, and expect the app economy to collapse over the coming months.

This Watch is much better than watch 4. It works with iOS too vs watch 4 doesn't work with iOS.

I have had the 3 now 4 classic. I honestly feel minimal difference. 4 classic is still better because stuff like Google maps and other android apps are better integrated.

Seems like a decent price since Watch 4 is Active type body vs this looks like a watch... Is it worth buying compared Active 2?

OP, where did you get the thread image? That appears to be the 20mm Ridge Sport and it would be the larger version.

This is running the soon-to-be-abandoned WearOS 2.0, right? With 3.0 being the joint attempt of Google/Samsung to bring it all under roof? The track record for backwards support for this kind of huge change...less than phenomenal.

I'm looking at comparison, there really isn't much newer watches do that this can't..

Is the OS really a dead platform? What do you guys get on your watches that you would get on Google OS vs the OS on this? To me, being able to see caller and reject a call, respond to what's app or text messages, control music apps and alexa/google home integration.

This is a good watch, and great price. It's lower than most used price you will find. I have it and never for once find a need to use Google map or Google assistant on it. Use it for workout and sleep tracking, those features work wonderfully on it

I had all versions of Samsung Galaxy watch, but I still prefer the old Samsung Galaxy Watch. It's more classy and stable.
