It's not a deal for me. Costco has it for only $150 https://www.costco.com/nanoleaf-c...43148.html. The remote is on Amazon for $30. or is there a difference between the Costco one and this?

Sadly these look bad IMO compared to all the others. You have a very visible line going down the center and across which makes it look bad IMO. Spend the money on the newer ones well worth it. I have had mine on for 5 years ( Yes never turn them off) and none have failed. Total of 85 triangles.
Depends on how you use them in a setup I guess. I get more complements on a 67 panel Canvas setup than I do on multiple 70-100 panel Shapes setups that are much bigger and more intricate. Some just dig that first gen Canvas look.
I have 30+ canvas pieces. The cheapest place to get additional pieces is eBay. I just got two 4 packs of canvas for 100$ total. This is an okay price but they do get cheaper.

Costco deal doesn't have the 4-pack expansion or the remote that this deal has in the bundle.
Costco does sell the 4-pack expansion for $59.99, so you could replicate the deal without the remote, and if you factor your quoted $30 for the remote, it would be on par with this deal, which is a 'Deal of the Day'.
If you don't want the remote and have a Costco membership, I'd consider the Costco component deal is better given Costco return policy and member cashback.
