I bought 2S on a previous deal, and I mostly like it. A single charge lasts well over a month.
The only feature I miss is the tilt scroll wheel, that many other models have. I program it for copy-paste.
The magnetic clutch wheel alone on the 3 makes it worth the extra cost, IMO. It's exactly what I've wanted a mouse wheel to be since I got my first mouse with a scroll wheel.
Being able to set the speed at which the clutch releases on a per app basis is incredible.

A single charge only lasts a month? I haven't had a rechargeable battery mouse (only AA batteries), but this seems very short. Is this typical for the rechargeable mice?

The mx master 3 has fixed this design flaw.
