That's a great price for this config. If you are opening it up to upgrade the SSD, I would be very careful when removing and putting back the bottom cover. Recent ThinkPads have flimsy bottom covers with delicate plastic tabs. If you break or bend even one of them, you'll be left with a gap in the seam where the bottom cover and the laptop meet. This has happened on 2 of my T14s. Replacement covers are available on eBay for $20-30.

No, Lenovo has some proprietary port + dongle to be used for this functionality unfortunately.

CPU benchmark scores for the 5850 vs the Intel 11th gen (newest) i7-1185G7. This Intel chip costs $685 to upgrade on the Intel version of the X13 Gen 2 FYI

AMD has it beat across the board

Was kicking myself for missing the last X13 AMD Gen 2 deal. I confirmed with a rep that this can be cancelled until it has been officially 'shipped', and even after that the laptop can be returned for a refund in case the ~four month timeline doesn't work for you.

Any concerns the resolution is too good? I'm looking for a desktop replacement to be used with a 4k external monitor but want to use it traditionally from time to time.

Assuming this isn't a 2in1 with a tablet mode...

Nice configuration for the price. My Thinkpad T14 AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 4750U still going strong.

Oops made a mistake. When you select the WQXGA (2560 x 1600), it should change it automatically to the 1080P webcam.
