This is a great deal for those who can go to the store and pick it up themselves, because S&P fees are prohibitive and the rebate merchandise credit is only valid for in-store purchases.
Drives me nuts how Menards advertises their 11% rebate. It is an in-store rebate so they keep the money so is it truly a rebate? You get no money back. You get a check that you have to spend in the store.
2 rebates actually... 11% rebate and then the balance rebate. Each will require a print, envelope, and stamp. Rebates in the form of merchandise credit and expires 3 weeks after you get it in the mail.
Rebates can be combined and there is NO EXPIRATION DATE! In fact I just cashed in one that was nearly 5 years old this week.
If in doubt Google it. Dozens of sites validate the fact there is not an expiration date.

They only have one rebate form now, for all rebates. Send in that form with all your receipts in one envelope and get a merchandise credit that is good forever.

Well I had a "rebate" for about $200 went and purchased another $500 of goods . My "rebate" good as cash took me down around $300. I then received another rebate for $50 plus (based on original price of my merchandise )
I'd say that's a great deal. Plus everything I purchased was cheaper than at HD or Lowe's to begin with !

For those that do not get the 10% off at Lowes or HD, I can understand the appeal. I have never found anything at Menards that could not be beat at the others even with the "discount" they call a rebate.
Make sure and read the fine print on rebates from Menards:
"* Mail-in Rebate is in the form of merchandise credit check, valid in-store only. Merchandise credit check is not valid towards purchases made on MENARDS.COM"
If there are no Menards in your area, it looks like you are SOL to use the "rebate" since you have to use it in the store.

Also in my area my Lowe's and Home Depot have been stripped of almost all electrical boxes and have slim pickings in the drywall department . That's why I've had to go to Menards ! Along with 22' beams . Other than that 99% of my purchases come from Lowe's with %20 off 😉

On top of it, the crooks don't just issue you a refund. They are counting on, you for getting and not sending it in on time

I just use my free rebate money to buy more free rebate stuff. No complaints here!

& OP!
Awesome freebie after rebate For things like this, it's usually a good idea to put the acronym "FAR" (free after rebate) in the thread title.
You're very welcome! And it appears that you updated it perfectly
