I bought this the last time it was on sale for $60 and paid the shipping. Definitely worth it with FS. It's a huge upgrade over the cheap used saw I used to use. The peace of mind of having a riving knife is the main reason I got it, but it's a huge time saver not having to double check the fence every time with a tape measure too. It was square out of the box and light and easy to move too. My biggest complaint was the packaging. They threw everything in a box with no packing material and it was pretty battered by the time it got here, but nothing was missing or damaged.

Out of the hundreds of posts about dto refurbished tools, this is the first time I have seen a post about bad quality. And you claim more than once? Can you tell us in more detail about your experience?

Factory reconditioned=brand new. Ryobi tools are exclusively sold at home depot. direct tool outlet needs to mark these as factory reconditioned to get around that restriction
Factory Reconditioned are used.
Factory Blemished are new.

Yes. The motors work but have a rough noise or a grind. I had an issue with 2 impacts (ryobi and ridgid) and a reciprocating saw all from dto. The factory blemish I've never had an issue with. The refurbished ones usually have heavy wear.
