FYI, in the US at least, there are two Pixel 6 "standard (aka not Pro)" models; one with and one without mmWave.
Based on the specs on the Visible site and the price, it appears that they are selling the one without mmWave. (The mmWave is typically $100 more.)
The Pixel 6 from Verizon (or from Google for Verizon) has mmWave, as well as the Pixel 6 from AT&T.
The Pixel 6 from T-Mobile (or sold from Google as unlocked) does NOT have mmWave.
"Although mmWave 5G offers exponentially faster speeds than Sub-6GHz 5G, it's more limited in terms of range. That means a phone with mmWave 5G support will need to be located somewhat close to a 5G tower to truly enjoy those faster speeds. This may work in major metropolitan areas where there are multiple towers spread throughout the city, but it's less of a possibility in rural areas. Because of that, mmWave 5G rollout has been slow and it's available only in select cities."

When it works it works well. I've been happy overall but after all the security breaching issues lately I'm actually going to port out. My number is too important to me.
I've decided to just buy the new Pixel 6 and port to AT&T prepaid. Their $25/mo if you pay for 12 months up front deal is really quite good.
I use my phone everyday for work (relentlessly) but I'm on WiFi 90% of the time.
But mostly people manage to get $99 off. 10% off more is RARE. The coupon does not actually apply to Google or Unlocked phones. It only happens if there is a kind rep who doesn't read the T&C.
In short: Target is super YMMV. But the Visible deal is NOT YMMV and Open to everyone.
For all who are unaware there was a big hack and visible's handling of it was terrible. Several people on reddit commented that they were hacked despite having randomly generated passwords. It really calls into question their integrity when they post a statement blaming customers for bad passwords. Hacks were still happening a week after the issue was made known.
Even if it was the customer's fault for a bad password the ability for a hacker to just buy a phone, sim swap, change emails etc without any further checks was unacceptable. And the response has been lacklustre from visible. People are still trying to get their accounts back after 2 weeks. Still waiting for customer support to get back to them. Legitimate phone orders have been delayed.
Yes I'd think hard before trying to save a small amount with the amount of hoops to go through and the risk here.
Also locked for 60 days. No using the esim in the meantime.

I had a situation where I had initially ordered an iPhone from them, and then in about a week I decided I just wanted to send it back and stick with their service. I wanted them just to send me a new SIM card, they couldn't do that instead they attempted to reprogram the existing SIM card, it didn't work and I ended up just pouring out.
But I was without phone service for like 3 days dealing with these folks.
While the offer is enticing I don't want to play the port dance. I'm very happy with Mint and I've already ordered the phone from Best Buy.
Best Buy I can absolutely vouch for, every time I've bought something from them or needed to return something they've been fantastic. Even when I bought my Switch the clerk went out of his way to give me tips on getting home safe. I got to restocking fee waived once just by saying the phone didn't work the way I expected. Support Best Buy!
