Tried to price match with Walmart chat. Escalated to a manager. Even though walmart.com has it in stock and it says "Sold and shipped by Walmart.com" (after clicking on Compare all sellers), both reps gave some rigamarole about how that inventory was actually being held in reserve for a third-party seller and so doesn't belong to them so they cannot price match.

Popping noises and range issues are normally caused by static build up. Make sure everything you have connected is on a single circuit (ie. one power strip). If you have the TV plugged into one outlet and other devices like consoles, video players, your sound bar, etc. connected to a separate outlet, it'll make those crackly noises. You can check by unplugging the sound bar power, waiting a bit, and plugging it back in.

If that solves your problem even temporarily, then you've found the cause that's good. Otherwise you may just have a defective unit. My non-LG soundbar did the same thing until I read about the static thing 🤷

I got a LG sound bar last year on a price glitch that had them going for $199 after a free $300 GC. I picked up the wireless rear speakers and it sounds great to me and my family. Everything is clear and after doing subwoofer placement and tweaking of the sound profiles everything sounds correct and certainly worth what I paid however I'm not sure I'd spend more than $400 on any LG sound bar their are better options in the $500+ range.

I bought this at ~$850 earlier this year and I regret it. Refuses to stay in ARC with my LG TV! Every time I auto switch inputs, this soundbar resets back to its "HDMI 1" input. This means I have to pick up the soundbar remote, cycle back to ARC, then wait for the tv's picture to blink out and back in. Super annoying. What's worse is that about 10% of the time, the TV switches back to internal speakers, which means having to set the TV back to arc, then doing the same for the soundbar a second time. Horrible, and has really made me lose all faith in LG as a home entertainment manufacturer. A solid "do not buy" from me.

That's what I'm thinking. I've had this since November and it works fine. Sound is great! I was gonna buy one for my sister at this price. I just talked her into a 65" C1.

I agree, except from what I've read…I'm either going to love this bar or it isn't going to work right. This isn't a trial for me, for sound quality, it's to see it I have any of the issues others mention. If I do, I will return.

Deal is still alive. Showed OOS when I first clicked through but showed back in stock after 10-15 mins. Seems like a solid deal, thanks OP!

The Q950A or the full Sonos Arc setup are probably the only ones clearly better than this bar (per rtings) and no way they will ever come within even 25% of this price (excepting a price mistake of course). Great trade off in my book.

I bought the Q950A a week ago for $950 + tax. Considering this unit but the return of the Q950A seems like a hassle. Might keep my Q950A. A shame this wasnt available when i was in the market as it would pair with my C1 much better than the Samsung.
