VA = excellent contrast and blacks but has to sit in the front for better color , IPS = excellent wide viewing angles and I feel most of the times better color but contrast and blacks are poor . I have both and both have advantage and disadvantages . Hope that helps 🙏

Can I just say that I hate when this happens? VA and IPS panels are wildly different... they really shouldn't be mixed in the same product line with little to no indication that you're getting one or the other based on what size tv you pick.

I believe 60" TVs all source their panels from the only manufacturer of 60" sized panels, SDP(Sakai Display Products, aka Sharp) and only uses VA type of panels.

Can you explain the difference? Which one is better?

FWIW I've had nothing but issues with the UI of my 75" hisense android TV. I have a smaller 58" hisense roku TV and its 100x better IMHO.

I have this tv that I picked up at Best Buy a few weeks ago. No issues with the UI. 10x better than my 4K Samsung 50" UI which requires constant reboots. Very happy with this tv for the price.

I have a new 77" OLED Sony in the living room that is obviously much better, but for $400, the 60" Hisense is a great value and is the perfect size wall mounted in my bedroom.

I dont understand why in 2021 people continue to use the built in apps with smart TVs

Ive seen OLED tvs that are $1000+ that have tons of lagging / browsing slow downs when using apps like Netflix / HBO Max.

If you are spending $500+ for a TV do yourself a favor and grab a streaming stick/box - it will make your experience much better.

Highly recommend the $80-100 Apple TV 4k (last gen) - you wont find a snappier / cleaner streaming box experience. If on a budget go for a Nvidia Shield on sale or if really strapped for cash go Firestick TV 4k But be prepared for a barrage of ads

A $30 Chromecast with Google TV or Roku will fix that. Honestly, I don't think I'd use the built in UI in any budget TV. They're all pretty crappy and laggy compared to an inexpensive streaming box. And when the UI is finally outdated, you can just upgrade the streaming box and not the whole TV.

Agreed, I have Apple TV, Fire TV, and Chromecast with Google TV boxes/dongles on different TVs in my home. I've had a couple Roku boxes in the past. Apple TV is the best I've use, but it costs the most, too. Worth it IMO for something I use every day. But for a budget device, the Chromecast is pretty phenomenal. And if you get it with the 6-months of Netflix bundle, it's only $25 for the dongle (assuming you were going to be paying for Netflix anyway).

Bought this exact TV from Best Buy in July for $379.99. Crazy how prices are just creeping up.

I've had this TV since July, and I haven't had any trouble with it.

Does it have a web browser on this TV? I like to watch videos streaming on the web. I dont want to use Roku, etc.
