I think the pro also has a higher TDP 3070 (like 140w instead of 130w), and one more heat pipe for presumably better cooling.

For those comparing this laptop to others with faster processors, etc., keep in mind that a 5800 will run a lot faster than a throttled 5900 in a thin or poorly-cooled laptop.

The RAM in this Walmart laptop is the slow tRFC timings. You'll want to upgrade to new RAM if you want the best gaming performance.

Yes, the RAM and storage are not soldered, and so you can replace them no problem.

In stock. I'd be aware that you may be waiting a while before the order is fulfilled. I bought mine on the 10th (supposed to get here on the 15th) and it still hasn't shipped. I talked to support and they told me it was a "high demand" item so they were working hard to fulfill orders on it. It almost seems like they're selling something they don't actually have yet.

I picked up this model a couple of months ago at my local Walmart for $1400 and have been perfectly happy with it. I use it for work and light gaming, works great on both fronts. Would recommend if it's in stock at a B&M near you.

You might need to cancel and re-order. I placed an order about a week ago and it was stuck. Placed one today and it has now moved to "preparing". I ended up canceling my previous order. Hoping this one ships.
