I think the pro also has a higher TDP 3070 (like 140w instead of 130w), and one more heat pipe for presumably better cooling.

For those comparing this laptop to others with faster processors, etc., keep in mind that a 5800 will run a lot faster than a throttled 5900 in a thin or poorly-cooled laptop.

The RAM in this Walmart laptop is the slow tRFC timings. You'll want to upgrade to new RAM if you want the best gaming performance.

Yes, the RAM and storage are not soldered, and so you can replace them no problem.

I ordered this exact computer for same price 2 weeks ago from Walmart and it still hasn't shipped. Meanwhile my card was charged immediately.

It has actually come back in stock once in awhile in small batches. I was able to make a 2nd order last night even.

Looks like WM is getting a bunch of these in, people maybe cancelling, etc. Maybe something to keep an eye on

my oct 11 order has zero update. almost 2 weeks. grabbed costco legion pro 5i 1099$ instead. weaker gpu w/ intel cpu. the rest are same.

Damn thats unfortunate. Now im losing hope that my order will push through since its stuck at order placed.

I know people who ordered 2 days ago was shipped immediately, but the ones that ordered yesterday is the one I am not sure since unlike before where it comes and go there are 0 stocks on almost all stores now i think

Snagged one of these. I know this is overkill for someone who doesnt play games and does basic browsing and dabbles in video editing, but I am constantly on my patio and want a nice bright screen for outdoor use and something somwhat future proof
