I think the pro also has a higher TDP 3070 (like 140w instead of 130w), and one more heat pipe for presumably better cooling.

For those comparing this laptop to others with faster processors, etc., keep in mind that a 5800 will run a lot faster than a throttled 5900 in a thin or poorly-cooled laptop.

The RAM in this Walmart laptop is the slow tRFC timings. You'll want to upgrade to new RAM if you want the best gaming performance.

Yes, the RAM and storage are not soldered, and so you can replace them no problem.

I ordered this exact computer for same price 2 weeks ago from Walmart and it still hasn't shipped. Meanwhile my card was charged immediately.

2 orders made that never progressed past PLACED status (ordered 10/24 and 10/26)

Managed to find one 4 hours away in my home town so I got an instore pickup on.

Cancelled the online ones. What a mess of a set of days *sigh*

Thanks OP for the heads up and the user that showed how to instore pick up these since the Walmart method is different than Best Buy and Targets

Anyone else *not* get a price match? My order changed from shipping for 4 days, to delayed (and money refunded), to delivered 2 days later, but the final charge remained $1671.xx after it posted the day after delivery. I'm not upset with the price, of course, but if there's a way to get them to honor the lower price by taking it into the store that'd be nice.

I just bought one 2 minutes ago for in store pickup, Dearborn Michigan has one left if that helps anyone. I had to use incognito mode for it to allow me in store pickup for some reason but it worked.

The easiest way to get started is to download Nicehash. Once you're set up there, you can look at optimizations. Generally machine RAM won't affect your mining. It's all GPU clock/memory based, unless you're doing CPU mining as well.
