I think the pro also has a higher TDP 3070 (like 140w instead of 130w), and one more heat pipe for presumably better cooling.

For those comparing this laptop to others with faster processors, etc., keep in mind that a 5800 will run a lot faster than a throttled 5900 in a thin or poorly-cooled laptop.

The RAM in this Walmart laptop is the slow tRFC timings. You'll want to upgrade to new RAM if you want the best gaming performance.

Yes, the RAM and storage are not soldered, and so you can replace them no problem.

I ordered this exact computer for same price 2 weeks ago from Walmart and it still hasn't shipped. Meanwhile my card was charged immediately.

I use trex miner with the the core locked at 1100 and the memory at 1100. You will want to set these in the T-rex bat file as afterburner can cause stability issues. T-rex will mine at these settings at 62-64 MH/s at 105-110 watts. No other setting are needed. The system ram will not have any affect on mining. I went my store I picked one up. Man the experience was bad so packed and like one electronics cashier. She seem busy so I said go ahead help them. Finally a slow wave and she helped me. She seem a bit lost and I told her you can look in the back. I needed the UPC and it showed we have like 4 in stock she looked in the area and told her can you check the back (where all the goodies are) someone in the back came with it believe was like a co manager. I am about to set it up. I wasnt gona spend this much, but than I saw reviews, my brother hyped it, and than post I went ahead with it. Luckily Chase had a 5% this quarter so I am going to get some nice cash back from this order. Always appreciate slick deals gona set up this bad boy!

I bought one online and it was canceled by Walmart for "fraud prevention" so I reordered with a different card I've used at Walmart 100 times easy and they cancelled it again, any one else having issues

I see, i guess the auto detect to 1399 stopped.. bummer. Mine still on order is placed and i guess stuck forever sadly. Ordered 2x cancelled last October 22, 3rd one went through but got stuck.

3rd order shipped. All of my orders were refunded after shipping to reflect the $1399 price and capital one has confirmed 8% cash back for all 3. Really nice machines - much better than the non-pro versions. I did do a windows 10 fresh install (non into 11 yet...) and had to manually download the wifi driver on another machine to get the wifi working on the fresh install.
