What's with the down vote. I don't know much about this printer but it seems to be a good deal since it's close to the 3 V2 price.

By many estimations, the Ender 5 Pro has the best print quality you can get for less than $800 - $1000+ (Prusa i3 MK3S+). This is a hell of a deal! It can be converted to CoreXY movement for ~$100, making it one of the best consumer printers, period.

Agree with you. Great deal. This was my first of 8 3D printers beginning 18 months ago. Other than printing bed supports, a BL Touch and upgrading springs, it didn't "need" anything else. I might just be getting a 9th and try a CoreXY conversion. The cube frame is solid.

This is a great deal. My Ender-5 has been solid for several years and the Pro version comes stock with few upgrades, too.

Biggest advantage is the bed doesn't move around like a bed-slinger, IMHO. The sturdy cube frame makes it easy to mount lights, camera, etc.

I have two of these and they're phenomenal printers. Excellent deal, tempted to buy a third at this price!

This vs Ender 3 V2? Can someone in the 3D printing space make a recommendation? I've been debating about getting a printer for a while.

IMO I'd go for this unless I had other plans for the ender3 (like a switchwire conversion). But both a good options.

The ender 3 v2 has a little better look, but I think their pretty close after that. I'd lean this way for a mor stable frame.

Phenomenal deal on an excellent printer. Skip the 3v2 and get this now! If only I could find a deal on a 5 plus.

Differences between this and the plus? Debating one for a larger format printer to add to my Prusas

For those of us just getting this and starting out, any recommendations for a good general-purpose filament for doing some initial prints besides the white PLA that comes with it?

If you have a microcenter nearby, their inland pla and pla+ is good and reasonably priced, tons of colors.
