Thinking about pulling the trigger on this for basement setup with 77 inch OLED TV. I wonder if Black Friday will have a better deal... I'm that lucky person that buys and the price goes way down after the return period
The RP-600M's are definitely better than the RP-150M, but they're acting as the surrounds in this setup, so the difference in sound quality probably wouldn't be noticeable with the sounds that normally come out of the surround speakers in a 5.1 setup.
I'd honestly wait for a better deal if you're looking for just towers. The JBL Studio 570s were just on sale for $199 each. I picked them up and they have really impressed me so far.

Thanks for the reply.
I have a pair of RP-280's and a RP-450c and wondered if the RP-600m's would be a good match in a 7.2 set up.

Yes, Klipsch are known to be fairly efficient and easy to drive speakers.

I wish they sold just the RP280F separate. I don't need atmos and surround.
What do you guys think of RP280F for $400 here?

Why not just wait for the 280fa's to go on sale again for $699 a pair? They're the same speaker, just don't connect the atmos.

If Klipsch is the sound you like I would suggest waiting for the RP-8000F's, they have gotten down to that price.
They would be a better choice IMO.

I would use two as surrounds and two as rears.
