Saw the box in store. Why the hell is the box so HUGE? Does the tent actually fold up to the gigantic size?
What you saw was a box of tents. Probably like 10 stacked in a box.

So I trekked out to the only store and my area to check out this tent, and ended up not leaving with it. The tent is heavy at about 8 lbs. Very low profile, so 3 people would be very tight in this tent. And honestly I really didn't like the design. It takes less time than a regular tent to put up but it takes way longer to take down (and will require some strength to get it back in its cover. It's a case of one of those "It never fits back in its package as well as when you first got it" collapsible structures. It doesn't appear more "waterproof" than any other tent other than the fact that the rainfly is built in (you're going to be VERY warm if you're summer camping). If you like it, great, but if you want something comfortable and simple while car camping, look elsewhere.

So did they finally disappear wholesale out of my area or has BS simply broken for the day?

I had seen more than a few reported nearby up until today.

Good luck!

Got one last week and have tested it in 32 degree F and rain for five days and working amazingly compared to other $300 tents. The build-in rain fly is basically an entire second layer over the tent so you have double protection from the cold and rain. For the summer I think I'd rather use my summer tent for the extra ventilation but as its getting colder right now this tent is a great deal as a winter tent.

I slept in the tent last night in 32 degree weather. It kept me dry and warm. Easy to setup and take down. Suggest watching the YouTube video for that to make it easy.

It fit a Queen air mattress and nothing else. Would not recommend for anything more than a one to two night of car camping. Too cramped. Even for a three man my son and I were not too comfortable. The walls of this dome are very low so not a lot of head room.

But for $20! It's definitely worth it for a quick backyard setup or one or two night car camping trip.

I wouldn't trust these poles with a snowfall. They are not strong and are meant to bend a lot. So not a great pick for a winter tent anywhere it might snow.

I'v used it in moderate snow with no problem. It's acctualy the opposite bc of the shpe of the tent the snow slides to the sides and backwards, many other tent designs are worse off in the snow than this one.

if you were to actually fill any tent to the advertised capacity it would be tight. also folding is significantly faster than any other tent i have ever seen how ever it does require a fair amount of muscle.

Please don't make stuff up, this tent can be disassembled and back in tent bag within 40 seconds. Unless you are slow in the head or have the strength of a little girl it would take you a long time to take down. It is warmer than other tents due to only having two openings for ventilation but nothing a rechargeable fan cant fix.

Guess I'll go grab a couple for $40... Store lowered them from $45 yesterday and it went from 6+ to 3-4 today on BS, so they're in the store, being found, somewhere.

Edit: Found one in the clearance aisle, but talking to an employee first and he said they were in a display box (must have been plainish) in the sporting goods area (end of the half aisle where the gun counter is) that they weren't allowed to move, but also nobody knew what the item was or price unless they scanned it with their phone. They are folded up like you twist fold spring windshield sun blockers, except about 2' across and 4" thick in a blue zipper bag.

I found 4 of these today at the Walmart in High Ridge, MO for $25. So now there are 3 left (in the clearance section of the store) if anyone wants one.

Ended up finding 5 at my local Walmart for $3 each… looks like the family is loaded up on personal tents now.

Also found a kitchen aid classic 4.5qt mixer for $143

Folks, I've been seeming tons of Wally tents on clearance. How do I know which one to get for an awesome price where I won't be rained on or ground soaked by a poor quality one, or something that breaks easily? I dunno which one to get…. But I know I won't spend retail pricing.
My details - in Florida so warm with tons of skeeters, 3 people, like fast setup type.

Also my Walmart shows 6+ in stock by they advised they never carried this model.
