Yeah, no thanks.
Not if you're an existing customer. Maybe if you're new, but I did it with the Spire offer and this just now and no hard pulls either time.
Do I have to keep the $100 cash reward at Fidelity once I receive it?
Yes. While you don't need to keep your initial deposit of $50 in the new account for more than the qualification period, you must keep the $100 cash reward (minus any losses related to trading or market volatility, or margin debit balances) in the eligible account for a minimum of 90 calendar days starting from when you receive the reward.

I see you like losing value
per the latest Bureau of Labor Statistics report 10/13:
"Over the last 12 months, the all items index increased 5.4 percent before seasonal adjustment."
Unless your CDs were long term locked in before the pandemic you are losing and no guarantee you will have better rates available when they mature
I am an existing customer and opened a cash management account. I couldn't see the newly opened account at first until I logged out and now I see it when I log in. The problem is when I try and fund it the newly opened acct doesn't show up as a funding destination in the drop down menu of my account when logged in via the website. I see another one of my accounts in the pulldown but I don't want to deposit money into that account.
Anyone else see this? If so how do I get around it so I can send money into the newly opened account?

You have to link your existing bank account to the new cash management account. In that same pulldown at https://digital.fidelity.com/ftgw.../transfer/ and select "Link a bank to a Fidelity account".
That's where I got confused, backed out, and lost my eligibility
Dang.
I'm waiting to talk to CS to see if they will add it. I'll update what happens.
Update - CS dropped my spot in the queue. lol
I got the reward email though by linking another bank to the Fidelity account. The post above this with instructions.

Thank you very much. Got it working. Now I'll wait for that $100 to roll in, lol
Some individuals may not be eligible. Reasons for ineligibility include, but are not limited to:
Limited to one offer per customer
Fidelity employees are not eligible
Non-US residents are not eligible
Persons employed by FINRA or a securities organization in a regulatory capacity are not eligible
I suppose it had to be outside fund, not from your other fidelity account? I got the new account number and email but don't see the account listed in my fidelity online. Tried logout and login, still nothing.
It gave me the option to transfer from one of my other Fidelity accounts, but I did it from an outside account just in case the $50 didn't count as "funding" if I just moved it within Fidelity (wasn't worth the time to read the fine print and figure it out since I regularly transfer money in anyways.) I had both those transfer options during the account creation process, didn't have to log in afterwards to do anything else.
The only email I received was an EFT Link Request confirmation when I linked the new account to the checking account I transferred from. No emails about the account creation.
I do see the new account listed now (with the $50 transfer pending), although I didn't check right after signing up so it may have been delayed without me noticing.

Cash management, IRA account
Getting 1k from Chase probably required at least a $50,000 deposit of new money. This is not an option for most people.
