PS: I "thumbs-downed" this post due to lack of critical information in the title and body.
This has nothing to do with being lazy. It has everything to do with including the #1 most important feature of outdoor cameras in the title or at least the body of the post. Sorry this is such a controversial issue for you. And yeah, "Might want to add "wired only" in the title" is such a DEMAND. Anyway, have fun continuing down this pathetic path that you have chosen for yourself.

Seriously, take 10 seconds to avoid looking like a jackass when given the opportunity. That's my life advice for you. I'm done here because you are not worth any more of my time.
"Might want to add "wired only" in the title" = demand and lecture.
Who is lecturing who here? You are lecturing me over a simple request.
Piss off.

No, Floodlight Cam 2 Pro does not require a HomeBase or hub to work; it connects directly to Wi-Fi. For users who have a eufy HomeBase and would like the Floodlight Cam to save videos on HomeBase, please stay tuned. This feature will be available in the future.
People are waiting for plenty of eufy features that would be available in the future. Now distant past.
Like I mean. If you have multiple wifi cameras you can't arm/disarm them in one go. No grouping of devices. lol. Have fun toggling 7 cameras/sensors on/off using a slow UI multiple times a day.
By the way, I added a bunch of useful information directly from the product page on Amazon. If you are posting a deal, take 15 seconds to cut-and-paste to make your post more informative. Then you don't have 10 pages of people asking the same questions over and over again and it will save people time from having to look at the product page and search for the answer. Better still, if you see an alert in your email with "wired only" in the title, then you don't even have to open the post, let alone search for the information.
A junction box is simply a housing for electrical connections such as switches, lights, ceiling fans, and more. It's where electricians (or DIY people) connect wires together using specially made electrical connectors. They come in all different types and sizes.
Some people mount their flood lights directly onto their house without one which I believe is incorrect. A junction box designed for outside has proper grounding, room for thermal activity, and is made of fire resistant material (if non-metallic). Basically meets code if used right.
I have Eufy cameras and while they are good, they are not "beasts" by any means. Their AI is horrible. Geo fencing is also horrible. I would be amazed if a Eufy product did what it actually claimed. They keep mass producing crap products, diluting whatever credibility they had/were trying to build. Adding new, useless products nobody wanted while their current ones get renamed, fragmented and never updated.
To top it off, you are BOMBARDED with constant spam for REFERRAL incentives/cash/links/freebies. It's terrible.
All of this over a simple request, rather merely a suggestion, to add "wired only" in the title. What a world we live in.
the marketing phrase you're looking for is "wire-free", which is battery operated and WiFi. but even this marketing phrase changes from vendor to vendor.
as others have said though, it's simple enough without all this nonsense in a forum to just click a link and check the specs yourself. if you want to update the Wiki after that to help others looking for a specific thing like yourself, by all means, help the community... but what you're doing here doesn't help anything.
