My 2 cents: "interference" may not due to "slim design", but rather due to shorter runs of less than one metre. Longer twisted pairs helps cancel any interference. Cheers!

Haha, it's not the 1 foot of length that matters, its the voltage drop of the 1 foot patch cable between the 200 foot+ run.

Cat6a uses 23 gauge wire, going to 30 will result in more significant voltage drop and wire heating. I'm not saying don't use, just be aware of the limitations.

AV/IT crowd: I'm assuming this length is mostly for patch panels/crowded rack interconnects...does the slim design make it more susceptible to interference?

A note on these: If you are installing in a rack with a door, these may stick out a bit too much and get pinched when you shut the door. We use the ultra slim version from Tripp Lite instead.

Of course, alternatively, you could move the front rails back a peg. We don't do this because our UPS is already tight enough in there.

30 Gauge wire, this will definitely effect POE devices that use higher wattage of the POE budget. Just something to be cognizant of.

Especially on longer runs.

Technically yes, but these are 1ft lengths, so probably not that useful to put in a wall.
