70% divorce rate. Can you predict the future?
That's not even close to the divorce rate first of all. More importantly the divorce rate falsely implies that this is the potential an individual has to get divorced when it isn't. (If you got married and divorced 4 times and I got married and stayed married, we'd have an 80% divorce rate between us). Also, the divorce rate has fallen off pretty substantially in recent history because fewer people are feeling pressured to get married as an expected life event.

Either way, I'm under no expectation that my marriage cannot end in divorce, but I see no reason to think about divorce when I'm happily married. Divorce isn't some mysterious pitfall that affects happy marriages, it's actually a positive event that ends unhappy marriages. If I'm ever in that situation, I'd look forward to the divorce.

Will this cook itself if I pay $800? Or levitate on command to my plate?

Just do what everyone else does and get it at a restaurant then spend the next week going through the 5 stages of grief.

Wagyu is a heart healthy fat. They are genetically different cows. Their fat is like an avocado or salmon.

Wagyu beef has the lowest cholesterol levels of all meats, even lower than fish or chicken, and it contains oleic acid which is considered good for your heart. It's also believed to have anti-carcinogenic properties.

WAGYU Beef — Delicious and Healthy
The unique taste and tenderness of highly marbled Wagyu beef makes for an unrivalled eating experience. That is why Wagyu beef is finding its way into the repertoires of Gourmet cooks and fine restaurants across the US.

Not only is it a gastronomic delight, but it's healthy for you too. Health experts have discovered the mono-unsaturated to saturated fat ratio is higher in Wagyu than in other beef and, the saturated fat contained in Wagyu is different. Forty percent is in a version called stearic acid, which is regarded as having a minimal impact in raising cholesterol levels. The profile of marbled Wagyu beef is more beneficial and healthier to human health.

Wagyu is also higher in a type of fatty acid called conjugated linoleic acid (CLA). Wagyu beef contain the highest amount of CLA per gram of any foodstuff – about 30% more than other beef breeds – due to higher linoleic acid levels. Foods that are naturally high in CLA have fewer negative health effects.
Ladies and gentlemen, the star of the evening in the Coping Olympics. I wonder how far the doctor's laugh could be heard when you used that as an excuse for your big bones.

Don't listen to the naysayers. This is a good deal. I have had the ribeye and strip, prefer the latter.

Some tips:
-This will come frozen. Let it thaw in fridge for 2-3 days. While semi-frozen, cut into 3/4" steaks and salt each side generously. Then vacuum seal individual steaks and store in freezer.
-To make medium rare steaks, thaw steak from above in refrigerator and then let it sit for 30 mins to an hour in room temp just prior to cooking. No need to add any more salt. Place steak in 200°F oven and cook until 115°F. Then sear/brown each side in a really hot skillet. You can add some butter or oil, but the meat has plenty of fat and surface will be relatively dry. Not necessary, but you can rest for 5 mins after searing. Then add black pepper (to taste) and then thinly slice the steak against the grain. Be sure to use a sharp knife.

Best steak I've ever had. Easy to prepare. Well worth the money. Enjoy.

You could buy a shitload of ribeyes, New York strips, and filet mignons for that price. Some people must have some expensive taste buds 😜.

Where do I get the stimulus check?

This could last you over a year for a family of 4 assuming you treat it as luxury item to eat. It would be a great item to buy and have for events in your home. I guarantee your guests will remember when they first ate wagyu a5. This isn't something you eat everyday... So a cost of $67 per month isn't that bad. Anyways, wagyu a5 often gets sold in Costco so there is always next year if you plan on trying it out. Also, you can totally split this with friends.... you're paying for the experience. Costco's gross margin on resale goods is only 10-15%. You are paying a very good price here.

Lol neither of those.

Cut to 3/4 slabs, then cut to 1" horizontal strips. Use only a stainless steel pan and lightly add sel gris salt. Sear both sides for 60 seconds each and the edges 30seconds each. Let rest for 3-4 minutes and serve.

You're not eating 16 ounces of this in one sitting, you'll feel sick. It's good like 4-6 ounces at a time.
