Snagged a Vankyo Burger 101 Projector from my local Walmart for $40.00. Specs don't seem all that great, but it does seem to have good reviews. For $40 bucks I figured why not.

Have you actually tried it out?
Curious what you find it useful for. can't imagine it's very bright with it being so small
50 LUMENS
720p ("supports 1080p" should always be a red flag)

HDMI supports 720p and 1080i/p technically but that doesn't mean it will display in that resolution. I haven't even opened the projectors I got last year under $60 that are 1080p or even the 3300 lumen 720p.

Tried it in dark bedroom & living room @ night with blinds/curtains closed, and it is pretty good. Not sure how it would do during day and more light flooding in? Hooked my firestick to it and played a few snippets of vids that displayed nicely. Ir remote can be iffy. Focus could be better but not bad once tuned. Power/charging cable is short for my liking (about 3ft). For $40 I am pleased so far.

The only thing these projectors are really good for is for kids to play around with for "movie night" or to use them for special fx projections at night

An opinion from someone who actually owns one...

It's a really cool little projector. No, it's not full HD and the sound is just passable... but it's great for throwing in a bag with a Roku for outdoor movie night or an Airbnb that doesn't have a TV.

Just got back from a trip and it was perfectly fine for watching football projected to around 4' with the blinds closed during the day. As a plus, it has a battery that runs about 3 hours and a connector for an external speaker. Picture above is about a 32" picture in full daylight.

If you can find it for $40, definitely buy it.
