I wouldn't be so sure. Haven't gotten mine yet but folks have said that it has worked with previous pixels without modification.

Almost bought a pair of the 2-in-1 charger until I saw the reviews. Kept me from pulling the trigger. Seems split 50/50 on the quality. Numerous reviews stating premature failure. In some cases after only a few days. Great price for those willing to take the risk. Theres also an extra 10% off if you buy 2 of the 2-in1's for any interested.
