This is just a sheet of plastic with adhesive on the edges. It will last a few months.
If you really want to protect your phone get something like Spigen Pixel 6 Pro Screen Protector Neo Flex. It's very flexible and provides much better protection.
I bought a similar one from Verizon when Note 9 came out.... and it's still on my phone barely visible 3 years later.
Idk if anyone has looked on Amazon, but there are TONS of glass screen protectors around this price. Even including for the rear camera with the main screen.

None of those glass screen protectors are going to work with the 6 pro fingerprint. You will most likely have to get a UV glue option tempered glass from aliexpress if you want it to work with the fingerprint since I don't think whitedome is doing one for the 6 pro.

There was a day 1 update, has been reported fingerprint sensor is working just fine now with various 3rd party glass protectors.
I installed this film today on my 6 Pro. It had tons of bubbles that went away after a few hours. The film itself isn't even cut correctly. It's off centered at the selfie cam and I installed it as centered as possible. Using it for the time being just to prevent scratches until I can get decent tempered glass.
I would probably get a wet install screen protector until someone makes glass. I do not recommend this product. Probably going to see if I can get a refund for this...

Does the fingerprint sensor work well with the film screen protector? A lot of people are reporting tempered glass protectors are messing with the fingerprint sensor.
Can you link the tempered glass protectors you bought?
Heads up, every review of tempered glass protectors I've read so far have broken the fingerprint reading /touch sensitivity on the 6 pro. I've only used tempered glass on all my previous phones so I've been keeping an eye out.
I used to use this brand back on my Samsung S7 Active, and it saved me from a broken screen. My phone fell screen-down from 2 stories onto concrete and the screen protector completely shattered, but when I took it off the actual screen was fine. I used it on a few other phones after that with similarly happy results. Assuming the quality is still that level, I would highly recommend.

It does, but I also had to add each of my thumbs twice. The optical finger print scanner is already not that great even without the screen protector on it.
If they suck, hopefully something better comes out before I use them all.
Amfilm just released some too. I haven't had any bad experience with this brand for flat glass or the LOCA/UV. I'm not sure about this one in particular, but I ordered one to try. https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B09HC...8SG0QRDBS9

Thanks for the heads up. I did notice amFilm released this product, and I have always had great success with their products on prior phones. I will wait for reviews before jumping over to this one.
So the main problem Pixel 6 owners should be concerned with is fingerprint unlock working with a screen protector. It seems whether TPU (plastic) based or even worse tempered glass, fingerprint unlocking is complete trash, based on reviews. Some say to register your thumb multiple times, others say to increase the touch sensitivity, but I am concerned nonetheless. I haven't received my 6 Pro yet, but if this becomes a serious problem with fingerprint unlock, I may have to consider ditching the phone. Some would say why if I can just remove the screen protector, but I would say why sacrifice? Hopefully it's just a matter of pressing harder than normal on the screen for the fingerprint to register correctly, but who knows. The hope is that this isn't a hardware problem and a software fix could remediate this widespread issue.

Been using the phone since yesterday. Registered each finger twice and just pressing slightly harder seems to do the trick. I had a S21U before. It's nowhere near that level, but if you've used any OnePlus phones before then the experience is similar.
