That's a Fanatics specialty. They bought out the shops for NHL, NBA, NFL, MLB, and colleges to eliminate competition and peddle their own Fanatics branded clothing and get away with nonsensical handling charges with every order. It comes off as petty, but they can and will get away with it considering the monopoly they have over the industry. I've stopped giving them my business except only in cases of extreme sales (preferably with the rare free shipping codes that stack). I wish Fanatics had more competition, but they seem to have the sports clothing and accessory game locked down.

Yes they sure did get large. I remember when they just sold NFL stuff and were a small business located in Jacksonville. They got huge and got licensing and frankly, it's kind of inspiring and exciting to see a small company grow to being so large. However, Fanatics got too big too fast and I don't think they have great customer service. Their shipping is slow and like Madden was (is still currently) for the NFL, they have a monopoly on most leagues and the leagues like it. Competition breeds better customer service and better pricing but it's better for the leagues if their items stay expensive because people are still buying it anyway and they are making bank. Eventually another licensed store will pop up but who knows how many more years that will take. It likely depends on the contracts Fanatics has locked down.

It's all over the site. I clicked OPs link and literally the first shirt listed is a Pittsburg Penguins shirt for $2.40 and they have size medium in stock.

Works for stuff like that because I got hats, shirts and all kinds of stuff for cheap.

I only had to wait 36 years until they won. Was worth it. 😌😃 And an additional year to get my championship shirt! 😆
