The thing about this 60 inch version of the tv is that it has a VA panel. I bought it 2 weeks back and will be calling for a price match. The review on the rtings site is for the IPS versions of this TV. I replaced an IPS hisense model that broke with this one and am blown away by how bright it seems in comparison. Colors extremely vivid. They may be more vivid than on my Vizio quantum model which I believe is also IPS. I am sold on VA panels now. Incredible deal for 380 Imo.

I wouldn't blame the tv manufacturer of poor quality control, your kids broke the tv.

it is scary. retailers are tricking you https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/hisense/a6g
I think those reviews are as-expected for a $380 tv. The biggest PRO I notice is the Excellent rating this tv gets for video game lag. I know it's Halloween, but I certainly wouldn't call this review scary.

Well I'll be, I just purchased this same TV on the 22nd for $399.99 and now the price dropped again! That's 20 bucks I could have saved! Yea, twenty dollars is a lot two me with these high prices since the Pandemic!! I'm wondering if they'll make the adjustment? Overall, the television is darn pretty good for the price I paid.
You should try asking BB to price match this and refund the $20

Think this TV is good for the price? Think again https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/hisense/a6g It's as decent as baby's first 4K TV.

My minimum requirement for my next tv is 120 hz refresh rate. These 60 hz units are getting super cheap it seems.

This isn't a TV to show off to your friends, but if you just want big and cheap, it'll work.

Handle with care. I bought one of these for my home bar. I barely taped its edge against a shelf and it cracked the screen. It is then I noticed that the screen goes all the way out to the edge with no protective edge or Bezel. Very cheaply made. I exchange for a new one. Works fine, just be very careful with it.

I feel like TV's this cheap scare me. What are the cons to the TV? I feel like you're buying a black mirror at that price. Share your experiences please!
Why are you scared?

Spend $30-40, buy a 3 year warranty, if anything goes wrong Best Buy will pick up the TV and literally bring you a new box and put it in front of the TV that is broken.

Problem solved, worry free, hassle free.

Screw SquareTrade or any other insurance - no one beats Best Buy Geeksq

You might as well wait to Black Friday. I got the 65in for $280 last year
Most stores, Target and Best Buy included, are doing Bf pricing guarantees this year.

So if you buy a TV now, and the price goes lower on BF, they will refund you the difference between now and the end of the year. So no need to wait till BF to buy a TV this year.

Refresh rate is 60hz not 120hz. All the ports are even labeled 60hz right on them.

This model or the Hisense U6G for outdoor use? I am planning on using it in a terrace but sunlight will still play a factor.

That's the "tricky" thing about these tvs. They can do 120Hz MotionRate which means the screen is natively 60Hz. So no its not stating that the TV itself is natively 4k 120Hz, it just uses frame interpolation to insert frames to give it a "120Hz-like" experience.

Yes, but it doesn't even list 120 motion rate in the specs anywhere, just 60hz. To call motion rate it's actual "refresh rate" is deceptive.

Pulled the trigger. Might keep it boxed, and good to know Best Buy offering extended return period for this year's holiday shopping thru Jan. 16, 2022.
