The last time this refrigerator went on sale I missed out on it as i waited too long to order it and I made sure this time that I didnt and I already ordered one. So if your in the market act fact because this will sell out fast like it did last time and with the supply shortages I bet they have even less than expected. Add the allstate warranty for an extra peice of mind for 5 years, and use your citi card for and extra 2 years of warranty for a total of 7 years.

I'm here to save people some time. This is a good to great deal. I've been shopping French door stainless fridges for a while and we just bought one about 3 weeks ago. I wish this was on sale then, I would have bought it. We bought an LG as well bc we trust the brand after having past ones. We bought a different model for 1800 but didn't have the ice in door. I would have gladly paid and extra 200 for ice in door. To me (everyone is different) this one checks all the boxes, stainless, French doors, water and ice in door, under 36in wide, high storage capacity. Feel free to shop around for weeks like I did but I'm very confident you will not find a comparable model at this price. The differentiator was the ice in door. Once you add that most models jump to 2400-2600. This at 2000…won't find many like it.

Isn't this an older model? It's clearance on Best Buy and not available at $2110. We're looking for a new fridge to replace a Samsung French door that the water dispenser doesn't work anymore. That fridge has been a PITA for years now.

I just searched on bby and nothing comes up, is it the exact model number? I also bought my new fridge to replace my old Samsung that didn't have working ice and kept freezing up (literally)

We have the same thing with the Samsung. PITA.

Here's the link on Best Buy

I like that this LG has the dual ice maker. Very temped with Costco warranty.

Gotcha. Yeah maybe it's a last year model then? Not sure. BBY also has the (active) LFXS26596S which is slightly smaller yet costs 2899.99 for comparison. It looks like the features are the same also.

Yes, its older (the 28 model). I purchased this in april of 2020 from bestbuy and it was a late 2019 release. back when i was shopping for fridges, all of the features offered were on 3k or more models. i was fortunate to get an excellent condition open box from bestbuy at the time for 1700 delivered

I got this last time it went on sale and I really like it so far.

FYI, Mine was delivered with a nice dent in one of the doors. I filed a claim immediately and Im still waiting on a replacement door (Received in June. So 4 months waiting so far due to backorder/supply chain issues).

Fyi, I have one of this and the compressor broke on me after 3yrs. I know they cover the compressor for 5 yrs. We had to throw a lot of food away. So Google reviews about their compressor before you buy it

I got this exact model about a year ago from Costco at the same price. It has been great. We had previously used a Whirlpool refrigerator and this one has much more space inside from the icemaker being in the door. This uses two filters, an air and a water filter. Overall, I've been very pleased with this with no complaints.

I did get the Costco card for the extended warranty on appliance purchases.

I was thinking about getting this one or the Samsung one you linked.

The Samsung one seems to have a few more functionalities:
- additional flex drawer
- built-in water pitcher

However, I was looking at the reviews at Samsung's website, and almost all the 3-star reviews have issues with the ice-maker and/or built-in water pitcher:

how much space does it need between the wall and the fridge for the door to open freely? The fridge will fill the fridge space completely, not sure if the door can be opened.

Now a days almost all refrigerator manufactures suck badly. I would say that at this point its more about the warranty than the manufacture, but I'd still pick LG over samsung considering that our first LG lasted 10 years and the house we bought had a wirlpool that is only 4 years old that just went out on me which is why im buying a new one. Since i didnt buy it i didnt care that it broke.

With LG if you want the doors to open wide then you need the same amount of space of the doors them selves to open wide. I you just want to open it then you only need to match the dimentions they want. Fridges really need to go passed the wall in order for the doors to fully open, same goes with any fridge really.
