I bought it and returned it.

+ Excellent features. Bluetooth, HDMI ARC works flawlessly
+ BASS!! Amount of bass it pumps out is out of this world for such a small package.
+ Using subwoofer cuts low frequencies to bookshelves automatically.
+ Not as bright as other Klipsch speakers

- Bass is overwhelming if you are not a basshead
- Vocals are recessed, so hard to understand vocals/dialogues
- No equilizers. So you are stuck with the sound profile. Klipsch has told they will bring EQ to mobile app, but it's not here yet.

I've debated getting these or the Sonos arc.

Anybody have any suggestions?

For what usage? I like vanatoos over these quite a bit.

Also curious on thoughts. This would be in place of a sound bar in a small apartment living room. I have no desire to run/have rear speakers, so will this be better than a typical 3.1 etc. sound bar?

Looks like a great deal. This is the lowest I have seen them. I was considering them to connect to my TV. Ended getting the Samsung Q950A instead. Not sure which option is better.

I bought these almost a year ago for $750 using a coupon from an audio shop based out of North Carolina. These speakers are absolutely amazing, especially at this price of $500. The built in amp is fantastic, and the HDMI arc is a key feature. My wife just watched Dune the other night and the experience was similar to what I experienced in the theater the previous weekend. I have them connected to a Jamo 10" subwoofer for finer bass control. The speakers will automatically nullify bass frequencies through the speakers if they detect a sub connected. The stock bass is very good regardless.

Regardless of loudness both Soundbar and these will be loud enough for any small apartment. It's about the quality and price

Sonos is overpriced and because of their closed system they literally can make your speakers useless once they decide to no longer support them

So far they alone are better than my pretty ok home 42 inch Vizio 5.1 setup. Good thing they integrate HDMI ARC so guess what, they all play together. Deep Bass great clarity. Cant actually stop listening to my favorite music, being studio monitor style I hear all kinds of things I never heard before so rediscover all your favorites. To me they are worth 1,500 because that's the cost for a new amp and a Klipsch package.

The Fives are hands down the best 4 speaker with integrated 4 amps for the price nothing else is close. They can connect to anything you got and way more than that epic compatibility. Never seen this many ways to connect anything.

I plugged them in at 6:30pm, I haven't been able to stop listening to my favorite music. It's now 1:06am. Still not bored, epic sound stage feeling and clarity. You'll be transported even if listening at 1:07am in the dark. Good night, I lm gonna get another hour in.

Yup. I've run them both in nearfield in my office.
