So, the spark was a pretty cool drone for it's day, but I am not sure if I would buy one at this price now. Personally owning a P3A, Mavic Pro (v1), and a Spark from that generation I can tell you that the video and photos were not great. Flying was okay, but it would constantly drop out of the sky if aggressive moves were attempted - luckily it is small and durable though and never got damaged from those. At least over grass.
yeah, I think this generation was mobile only unless you picked up the fly more package. I had totally forgotten that I bought mine at launch with that package - because of the lack of a controller.
Good catch and another reason why it makes almost no sense to buy a spark at this price.
This shouldn't even be looked at unless it's under $150, because it is an old drone with outdated technology. The battery life on it is very poor by current standards, usually only lasting 8-10 minutes, and the gimbal isn't great.
The Mini is a vastly superior choice at this price point

The Mavic Mini (v1) replaced this in 2019...
