I have both the Bio Bidet 6800 and the Toto SW2044 (slightly different model). The Toto is much more powerful when you turn the 'Soft' option off and it puts out a lot more water/second. I'd say the Bio can only get up to a 4-5 where as the Toto can go all the way to 10 in terms of water pressure. However, I find this pressure to be too much and prefer to be in the ~7 range. The Toto's air filter works much better at eliminating smells, though the charcoal filter does need to be replaced every 12-18 months at ~$30/pop. I find the Toto more comfortable to sit on and it also sprays inside the bowl when you sit down to help prevent anything from sticking to the walls (Bio Bidet doesn't have this). The air dryers on both don't work well as it is much faster to use a little TP to dry off and be on your way.

The Bio Bidet doesn't get much use anymore as the wife and I strongly prefer the Toto, but it is more expensive. Guests who are new to bidets and use the Bio Bidet (now in the guest bath) generally enjoy it, as we did before moving on to the Toto.

We've had two of these for the past year and they're great. Super clean asses and rarely use toilet paper anymore.

I don't know anything about these in particular. But I just want to say that automated washlets are a lifestyle improvement that's beyond anything one can imagine. It almost feels like going from a 19th century barbarian to a future person.

I'd suggest anyone to get one, doesn't necessarily have to be these.

I bought this the last time it was on sale. It does it's job. I still use a couple squares of TP to dry up because the air dry function is pretty much useless.

I've used this bidet for about four months. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase. This is my first experience using a bidet. The seat is a little awkward/uncomfortable to sit on and it does shorten the opening on the bowl by a few inches.

People complain that the water stream isn't strong enough but I feel like it's just fine. The water is nice and warm. The dryer is pretty useless unless you sit for several minutes but even then you're still damp. I usually just use a few squares of toilet paper to dry off.

The no-slam lid mechanism and blue night light are nice touches. Worst case, if you hate the bidet, return it to Costco for a full refund!

I've had this model for over two years with no breakage, and I am well over 300 lbs. Be gentle when sitting and standing, and it should be fine. And if your lid broke, then someone sat on it, and you should NEVER sit on the lid.
FYI, I was reading the spec sheet and the lid is rated to ~170lbs. But yes, probably not a great idea to stand on it regardless of weight.

I have a Bio bidet 1000 and it stopped working after 2 years. Out of warranty cost another $140 to have fixed through the company.

Good product but it failed on me.

Consider the cheap ones as well without power. They do a great job. I have 4 of those across a couple of apartments @~$30 each.

We have this bidet. Best feature is the seat warmer function which is great for the colder seasons. If you don't have a bidet yet, this one is a great one. My only gripe is that the remote is double-sided so you'll have to remove the remote from the wall mount to access all of the controls.

Do they still call that a bidet? Sounds like a wand aka little shower head. I don't have a bidet, but have been considering it for a long time. The only thing stopping me is the lack of power outlet. I imagine the user experience is much better on OP vs a hose.
Yes, look up something like LUXE Bidet Neo 110. You remove your toilet seat to install the bidet, then reinstall the toilet seat on top of it. It's pretty simple.

It is powered by the clean water supply line to your toilet. It is cold water only, powered by water pressure. I use it even in the dead of winter and it's fine in my opinion. All our toilets have bidets now, lol.

Bidets are fantastic in general. But I would recommend going with a Brondell if one goes on sale. Mine died after about 10 years and i replaced with this Bio Bidet. Brondell much better quality and function, IMO.

This is the regular 6800 not the 6800U, wish Costco can bring back the A8 for $249
What other functions did the U have that this one doesn't?

The A8 that Costco received were garbage. I bought two and both had issues with the nozzle not retracting within 3-6 months after purchase. The 6800 I have in my master bedroom is more than 2 years old and still no issues.

Check online and you'll see a lot of people complaining about the nozzle issue with the A8 and BioBidet's subpar customer service policy of making you pay to ship your broken unit to them.

Looks like the turbo, enema function is missing
I have the BB-1700 - thinking about buying this for the second one but not having turbo is holding me back

*Rarely* use toilet paper anymore? Don't you still need to wipe after each sitting.. to make sure it's, uh, CLEAN?
Do you also have to wipe your hands to clean them after washing them?

I have a $25 Bio Bidet that works fine, but the talk of "super clean asses" has me intrigued. How much cleaner does this really make asses?
