I was just about to purchase the 65" from Costco but Sams has it for $200 cheaper. Don't have a Sams Club membership though but do have the AMEX $25 off $45 membership deal. Anybody know if Sams honors price mistakes? Just seems odd that it's $1,500 in store but $1,300 on-line for the 65".

Sadly Costco doesn't price match. Looks like you have to pay for the "Plus" Sams membership to get free shipping otherwise it's $79 (to my house at least). So not as good a deal for those of us who have a Costco but no Sams membership but still if you have Sams great deal!

Hmm...this or the X90?

My last TV was an MU8000 which had a VA screen...i didnt really ever notice much issue with reflections.

My new place will have windows facing the tv which has me concerned...but it may not even much of an issue...closing the blinds wont be that difficult.The X90 is the better tv performance wise but the q85 has the reflection and angle benefits...but, the q85 also doesnt support DV...i think Im going to stick with the x90.

Ordered one then realize this is not the same as the QN90 from samsung - cancelled - now im stuck with the 17$ plus upgrade. ill keep the QN90 - got it for 2069 - 100 - so 1969 - a little bit more expensive but not worth the hustle of having to return and besides delivery Friday 10/29.

I own a QN90A and it is indeed good for bright rooms but it has excellent viewing angles, although it's a VA panel, due to Samsung's 'Ultra Viewing Angle' technology layer. Unfortunately that same layer is prone to faint reflections of light that causes a rainbow like effect on black TV screen. Still a fantastic TV that I'm very happy with.

Just my 2 cents.

I almost bought this at samsung.com using student discount for $1839.
Now samsung.com is showing same price as sams club. $1599 for 75" Class QN85A.

Glad I waited.

Should i return the Costco X90CJ and get this? They're the same price, it will probably cost me $100 to unmount the other TV and mount this. Sony has horrible reflection but this Samsung has bad black uniformity according to Rtings...

Any input?
