You can get tempered glassware for plates and bowls for $0.79 each from Ikea that are similar and dishwasher and microwave safe.

They are not as glazed/shiny as Corelle and so look less plasticky and more like ceramic than Corelle. Guests have liked the feel of these at parties. Better than using disposables. Also great for daily use. If you like plain white that is.

Resistant not fool-proof ... They don't chip or break nearly as easily as others. I like them because they are thinner and you can fit a lot more in a stack in a small cup oard than you can other types of plates and bowls.

Of the many Corelle bowls and plates I have had over decades, only one bowl has a chipped rim. Even with a small piece broken off, the remaining edge is not sharp, doesn't cut skin. Corelle is thinner and stronger than any porcelainware of the same size.

Will they have these items for the same price (including the coupon) at physical stores?

I plan to visit nearby and wonder if that would have the same benefits (if not better, which i doubt).

Most likely B&M stores don't have them. You may want to make sure before you go.

Got the 2 quart bowl last sale, 1 out of 4 split in half by itself. I'll be returning all 4. I've been using all Corelle plates and bowls for the last 5 years with some minor chip, so this poor quality isn't expected.

After around 4 or 5 years use, my corella bowls and plates have rough edge. I guess that's either due to dish washer or the cascade platinum detergent. Not sure if others have similar issue.

Corelle is also made of glass. So this ikea glassware price is very competitive. Will definitely take a look when I go to ikea next time. Thanks

I bought four from ikea. They are chip or break in a few months, but my corelle last more than a decade. It may save you $ and buy corelle in a long run. You can tell the quality of ikea bowl once you pick one up at store.
