Actually, the way these deals normally work is that you owe taxes on the $100 for this year, regardless of when you sell. For $100, you may not receive a 1099-MISC, but you're technically obligated to report it.

You're assigned a cost basis of $100 for calculating your realized gain/loss when you eventually sell. If you close your position at $500 then you pay taxes on a realized gain of $400.

I mainly use voyager for my crypto trading. Low fees and good interest rates for a lot of coins. One thing I don't like is it takes up to a day to transfer coins out to another wallet Frown

Signed up with the code but never got any confirmation that it applied. This morning was able to verity and deposit funds and made a trade. For those of you who did it, did you receive any email confirmation that the promotional code applied or does the promo BTC just suddenly appear? I'll be annoyed if I somehow screwded this up.
