Best Buy has an early Black Friday deal for Samsung's "The Frame" 55" 4k QLED TV this is the 2021 model which is almost half as thin as the 2020 model. $500 off or 33% off. Usually the deals are 25% off at most. Sometimes they will have more off but they are older models. I haven't seen this much of a discount since I've been tracking the prices about a year ago.

Other sizes are on sale as well. The 55" is the best % off (33%).
32" is $150 off down to $449 (25% off)
43" is $200 off down to $799 (20% off)
50" is $400 off down to $899 (20% off)
65" is $500 off down to $1499 (25% off)
75" is $800 off down to $2199 (25% off)

The Frame is a great low profile TV that has an art program that makes it look like it is a piece of art not really a TV.

Once you set a piece of artwork or one of their screensaver-type backgrounds it doesn't need an internet connection to display it. When browsing the options it does need to download the full file from the internet the first time you view it full-screen. You need an internet connection to load your own files from the SmartThings app. That app requires you to enable background location services to use it at all, so I just turn it on and off with a burst of anger every time I want to change something.

has anyone did a install upgrade from the older Frame model. is it as simple as just swapping out the mount or is there more involve. asking cause it was a pain to install the first one.

It's totally different mount system.

Also, even for 2021, 43" has different mount system than the other sizes.

Different mounting system with no real upgrade. I'd keep the old one

You can disconnect the wifi.
We have put our own 'art' on it which was downloaded from a few websites and facebook pages meant for The Frame artwork.
