I have one of these. GREAT little speaker for it's size and price.

This is technically an "outdated" version, as they are now on 5th generation BUT, there are some benefits to the 3 over the 4&5.

Mainly the newer versions (4 & 5) do NOT have built in microphones. This means they cannot be used for phone calls or with a voice assistants like Siri or Google assistant. This one can.

The new ones however can be linked together with multiple speakers of the same generation, this one cannot.

Had this attached to my golf bag. Battery was shot after a summer, maybe 3 months. Mostly Weekend Warrior player . It stopped holding a charge and constantly had to be plugged into an external charger. Two other friends had the same issue by end of summer. Do not recommend this peculiar speaker…at. all.

pro tip for using this in the shower:

If you have one of those spout/shower diverters that pull straight up - hang the CLIP3 facing DOWN, towards the tub, on the shower diverter. This will avoid water building up on the front face of the speaker, which doesn't damage it but will dampen the sound quickly.

Yes mine stays in the shower I only take it out to charge it like once a week

I read all the 1 star reviews. Multiple reviewers either say the face comes off, the clip breaks, or it stops charging. Many happen fast, like after 3 uses, 3 days or a month.

If the face falls off I recommend glueing it back using a very minimum volume of glue on each side, yet well placed.

I want to get this, but not sure if I want to risk it. Don't need a PITA fail bluetooth speaker.

I bought these when they were $15 a year and a half ago, they stink in volume and quality of sound. My kids would rather use their Alexa in the bathroom than this speaker. I'm looking to give mine away
