I own one of these monitors, they are great for a budget 4K work/productivity monitor, probably not ideal for gaming folks though.

I would have probably bought this if it wasn't for the response time.

What's a good response time? I'm new to monitors.

Just in time. Start my new job work from home Monday. Wanted a 27inch 2K, but I'll take the 27inch 4K for less.

Dang that's a good price for an IPS 4K but, every third or so Amazon review shown on first page had problems with it. Idk what to think…

Generally, 4K monitors are able to display more information than lower resolution displays. Here is a link to help you decide if it's right for your needs:

As far as being a good deal, for a budget 4K productivity monitor it's a good price. This monitor has been hovering around $300 for a while now. I purchased one back in March 2020 for $246 and it's been flawless. I've just been waiting on the price to go back down to complete my dual 4K 27" setup.

I've owned this exact model for over a year, it's been perfect. Just ordered my second one.

Some will say 27" is too small for 4K, but scaling has improved a lot over the years, and considering average monitor viewing distance, it would look more crisp compared to larger displays unless someone prefers sitting farther back.

Isn't this the similar model that Office Depot used to sell earlier for $199?

5 ms response time is fine, that's pretty much the same as all 60 Hz IPS monitors, i.e. mixed-use/productivity/casual gaming, not monitors targeted at hardcore gamers.

That one is U27V3. But I don't think the differences between them is that big though

5ms is okay. I have multiple 5ms monitors albeit, not 4k. 2ms or less is what I'm in the market for.
