I've had these for a couple years now, granted you get what you pay for and they're pretty cheap to start with, but after only about a month or so the adjustable functionality stopped working. They're not terrible at the lowest adjustment but would be much nicer if they held the speakers a bit higher. Speakers I'm using are only 3lb each.

Used these for years when I lived in an apartment and didn't want to mount my rear speakers to the wall. Held my monoprice speakers just fine, maybe 3lbs? I had issues with the screws that came with it though. If remember correctly none fit my speaker but luckily I had extra ones around that did work. The base has a circle weight on it and you can easily route your speaker cable through the stand.

Wanted to buy, but the speaker I'd use is 8lbs. And 43" / 3.5 feet is a bit short

Instead of "no HDMI" this'll be the new litmus test for SD-approved entertainment deals - "Can you hang babies on it?"

Can't hang babies on it. Pass.

Does the baby have to be human? Do kittens, puppies, rabbits ,… apply?

I wouldn't put $200 speaker on this stand which tends to break when extended. Look at the reviews on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001VRJ...9NN1TJ43X4

Don't get stands with 3 feet. Awfully unbalanced and will tip over easily.

I have these with some Boston acoustic speakers and they've worked fine for 2 years. I'm not advocating that they will work with Sonos….but I don't move them or adjust them ever and they seem to work. I'm hoping Sonos works as I'm ready to order some and see what I get….crossing my fingers.

I had this and it's garbage. It will not hold up to 5lb. If you have those speakers that's 2lbs. Maybe it'll hold.
