Good price for both. I was able to do a hack and get the 3/8 for $81. Thats the cheapest I have seen. As was mentioned, throw a larger 4ah+ battery and it far exceeds the advertised 225 ft lbs. I vid tested it with a 6ah bat and it removed over 400 ft lbs.

For only $30 more, $199, gets you 2ah bat, charger and both impact wrenches. Great deal!!

Expected the 1/2" would produce more torque, but no,

The torque is a lot more than the specifications on the box. Tested approximately at or above 400 lbs of nut busting torque on the Torqe test channel and Shop Tool Review.

meh it would be a deal if it came with two batteries and a charger
If it came with a battery it would cost approximately $150 each with a battery and charger.

I have them both and you will be surprised at how much they can do for their size!

I have both as well. The head is a lot smaller than the M12 Fuel Stubby. I like the Rigid better.

I'd much rather have a 3/8" impact ratchet and 1/2" subcompact wrench. I love my Ridgid stuff for the value, but I'm still jealous of the Milwaukee impact ratchets.

I have the Ridgid 1/2" impact and was in the same boat. I ended up biting the bullet on the Milwaukee 3/8" set. No regrets!

So... it's not the size that counts?

Dang. I recall there were a number of deals last year. I'm hoping something hackable comes up before Christmas. Don't need both (but if I did, I'd grab it with the battery for $199) right now.

other than size and weight, from a pure power perspective will I see an advantage to these over my Ryobi 1/2" torque wrench? I was using it to torque down some ~150ft/lb bolts on an RV suspension and it wasn't cutting it unless i hit it for longer than desirable. It's friggin loud too.
