I'm a Zenni convert for sure. My teen daughter has switched to contacts, so buying an expensive pair of glasses to use maybe an hour or two a week (indoors before bed) didn't make sense. So we now have 2-3 pair of cheap glasses for her.
And my wife has a nasty habit of misplacing glasses. So we have (literally) 10 pair of glasses floating around the house/cars for her.
21 year old son has maybe 8 pair himself.
And this is all a LOT cheaper than buying just one expensive pair at Costco or wherever.
We've had two issues with our Zenni orders. One they took care of promptly and one I just got too lazy to contact them about, so I just forgot about it (since we have so many.)
All in all, I'm a fan.
Edit: because I just get the cheap included lenses most of the time these days, this sale doesn't really help me much. Typically they'll offer a BF or Cyber Monday deal of like 20% off everything. That's what I've been waiting for before I order a couple more pair.
Has anyone bought progressive lenses with zenni or any of the others, experiences ? I feel like I need my glasses all the time now but I just started wearing progressives about three years ago. I actually just had a eye exam last week and looking to fill my new prescription.
Anyone have experience with this company or EyeBuyDirect?
I have used eyebuydirect and zenni both on several occasions. I prefer eyebuydirect as I think the quality is better than Zenni ( not a huge difference though). So you can go with either wherever you like the frame better. FYI- eyebuydirect has 30% off everything.

Solid? I got a cash of the 'olds' recently and I had to switch to progressives. Honestly I am still getting used to it after many months, but the difference between the pricey lenses + frames I got from my optometrist vs the two Zenni backups I got around the 2020 holidays were negligible. Quality frames.

Yes. Had one good experience and one bad. Normal progressives went well. "Office" progressives for mid-distance were useless. I would have to mail back to replace, which isn't worth it.
But they're so cheap I'm still WAY ahead. Bifocals are also quite good.
For a decent looking, fairly tough, super cheap (mens) frame, check out model #461821. $7 with single vision lenses plus $5 shipping ($5 total for 1 to infinite pairs, I believe). I've got like seven pairs of those things now.
Some of the plastic ones break after a year or don't do well in heat - or just feel cheap. These metal ones have been very impressive for the insanely low price.

If you don't mind telling me your experience with Lasik was, I'm scared to get it because I don't want them to accidentally laser me blind. Thank you
The thing with lasik is that its either gonna be the best decision of your life... or the worst decision. Playing those odds with one's eyes is a risky game IMO. Google lasik horror stories. Best of luck with your decision.

Just reading your reply has me 💀🥲 lol I'm alright then haha, glasses will be just fine
this has not been my experience, zenni was the cheapest for the frames+lenses I buy (both the 6.95 basic frames which I use for spares, and rimless frames as my mains for ~20)
i think it depends on what you buying, but zenni prices are very competitive, and I find them extremely high quality. my last glasses from them lasted me 3yrs, until it was time to update my prescription
Here is the bottom line: I bought a great pair of flexible glasses outside of Zenni for my daughter for a total price of $450.
Fast forward 2 years: I find out about Zenni. The same pair cost me $50. SAME EXACT PAIR. NO CHANGE IN QUALITY!!!!

Zenni makes you pay for return shipping while eyebuydirect doesn't.
The quality seems generally the same for comparably priced frames imo.
I did have an issue with Zenni selling a pair of frames that were a few mm smaller than described which essentially made them children glasses. I should have read all the reviews since most of them were complaining about the same thing. I guess it was within their margin of error though.
It's more of a gamble buying frames online since it can be difficult to see their actual size. Zenni does an exceptionally terrible job of providing any sort of scale to compare their glasses to. They are all shown against a white background with absolutely no images of people wearing them. All the images are also not sized relative to each other so a pair of really small children glasses can show up bigger than adult sized. It's also not that easy to use the measurements to estimate the size since frames only have certain measurements to go by and in many cases they don't tell the whole story.

Click the option for try these on...it shows you models wearing the frame or you can upload a photo of yourself to model. 🙂
