they have multiple models. 2gb MSRP is like 35 I think.

The 2GB model indeed used to be $35. Due to the chip shortages, all of the prices were increased, with the 2GB model now costing $45. $75 for the 8GB model isn't a "deal", but stock has been very tight this past year and isn't expected to improve anytime soon.

I think the only price increase for the PI 4 was for the 2GB model, which is up from $35 to $45. They have 4GB and 8GB models as well, and more RAM = more $$. I don't think the 4GB/8GB pricing has changed since launch but I haven't followed it too closely.

On the other hand, some of the bundling is dubious. For example, CanaKit's $75 Pi 4 8GB Board Only "ships Feb 15" [canakit.com]. but the $120 and $150 "bundles" that include extra stuff are somehow "in stock". Huh.

Value is still good for anyone needing a 8GB Pi. I picked up a CanaKit 4GB kit w/ case, cables, and power for $80.

You can do a USB to USB cable connect to your iPad Mini, iPad Air & iPad Pro with USB C connector as a external storage, as a Linux instance to do some of the things you just can't do from your iPad.
