Just an FYI about craftsman v20 power tools.... stick to the brushless models. The non-brushless are comparative to ryobi models, works but not the greatest in performance. The brushless however, seems to be comparable to the dewalts and milwaukee in performance. The craftsman brushless drill, the one made in usa, people are wondering if it is a rebadged dewalt. Has just a tad less power than dewalt, which means better than most others. The same with the brushless v20 circular saw just a smidge behind dewalt and milwaukee in performance. I just saw some youtube on the brushless recip saw. Fixin the coast (channel) guys said it performed better than the milwaukee fuel recip saw, actually faster. No I'm not with craftsman, my tools are dewalt, makita, kobalt, bosch and ryobi. I only have ONE craftsman powertool the miter saw, it's not brushless but in the 3 or so years I've had it, it's been great. The angles on it are perfect from the factory 90 and 90 with a machinist's square. I've been happy with that $200 deal 3 years ago, money well spent. I'm just sayin' do your research on v20 brushless and see what other people out there think of it. You might find yourself with a low priced tool that will surprise you with high end performance. Just stick to the brushless line, plenty of unhappy people with their nonbrushless models. Looks like I'll be adding the brushless recip saw (craftsman) with this deal, after the videos I've seen on it comparing it to others. Oh yeah, in case you somehow missed it.... the makita rear handle circ saw kit for $152 (hacked) is a monster deal, jump on that if you need a circ saw. You'll never find a better performing saw for $152, and this deal is for a KIT.

I got that deal for $132 this summer. Still in the box and hope to use it when the lumber drops a little more.

This. I just set 'Craftsman' deal alerts here on SD. Just since this summer I got that miter saw kit for $82. The BL hammer drill for $35. BL drill kit was $40. Multi-tool kit $35. Worklight $17. Brushed D-handle Grinder was at $40 @ Amazon .
And as you said, they look identical to the Dewalt counterparts, except the batteries won't interchange.

Those fixin the coast tool reviews are legit, no unnecessary fluff, just carpenters pushing tools to their limits. The brushless craftsman saws really shine compared to kobalt.
