This is the continuously recording version. Really only available at Best Buy and went on sale recently again a couple days ago for their Black Friday pricing.

It will record 5 continuous days worth of footage. The other versions will only record when motion is detected. If it fails to detect motion fast enough then you'll lose out on potentially useful footage.
