Kef is a name brand product for people in the know. You know, people who don't think that more cones means better sound.
I sit about 9' away from my TV, and right now I have a 3.1 setup with old school NHT SuperOnes across the front. How much would I gain by going 2.1 setup with Q150? Noticeable? Would I be able to drive them adequately with my Onkyo TX NR 646?
Sorry for all the questions, I've been thinking about adding some speakers to my basement gym and if it makes sense for me to upgrade my TV/music setup, I can just use my SuperOnes down there.

Been through 50+ amps in my life and recommend Onkyo A-9150 which I was shocked to believe sounds better than $2,000 hybrid int amp set-up.

Highly rated on Amazon is a lot different than highly rated by audio people. SSCS5 is a good speaker, especially for the price. But, you can look around in places where audio people congregate, and nobody rates the SSCS5 better than the Q150s.
