Now that we have entered November (seriously, how is the year going this fast?!), I'm super in the mood for some cozy reading evenings—so, naturally, I have looked into what's currently free on Kindle and have compiled some real gems as a result. I'm so excited to share these with you!
The Revelation of Katsushika Hokusai, The Artist by George Georgiou
This is by far the one I'm most excited to pick up this week, so we're starting with a real winner here! According to the synopsis, this novel is set in a sort of mythical Japan ruled by evil gods who have banished the Mother Goddess to the bottom of Mount Fuji, leaving the world in discord and requiem. Ultimately, it's up to a boy who was born deaf and has had some expert training to bring the earth back to its rightful state. …I mean, could that sound any better?!

Meet Me Under the Mistletoe by M. Robinson et al.
As can be deduced from its title, this is a Christmas romance short story collection by a multitude of authors. (That's me sold!) All I know is that these stories largely center around a rather infamous family's annual Christmas party. Consider me sufficiently intrigued!

This book honestly sounds like it has potential to be both comforting and heartbreaking. Here, Christie, who craves a place of peace and solitude to heal from her past, moves to a cottage she has inherited—a cottage which has a backstory concerning a lovesick previous owner who wrote letters to his lover every single day. This is the first installment of a series of four, so that'll be me preoccupied for some time!

Dreaming of Tuscany by T.A. Williams
The premise of this book is strong but simple: Bee, after waking up in hospital due to her being involved in an accident occurring on-set, goes to live with Mimi, an A-list actress. It is there, surrounded by some new individuals, that Bee commences her healing journey. If you ask me, anything set in a cottage is ideal for the cozy autumn season!
