Dollar General low key has some of the best deals on Xbox/Playstation cards. They are rare sales though.

I stacked up three years of gold subscriptions to convert to GPU last time they had a sale on 3 month gold cards ($15 on sale from the usual $25). Turned on recurring billing to get a 4th month with each card I redeemed. So essentially got three years of GPU for $136 - ($45 per year of gold +$1 for GPU conversion).
There wasn't a limit last year when I purchased around $300 worth to get an Xbox Series X. I wasn't sure how many others would come to the Dollar General that I went to so I left a good amount for the next person trying to get in on the deal.

I saw 2 types of Xbox gift cards. One where you can scratch off the back to revealed the code. The other printed the code on the receipt when you pay.

I did the same but for Subway. Got $500 worth at 20%. 6-inch sub ended up less than $2 which is my budget per person per meal. If people use $2 as a guide per meal per person.. save so much money. And subway was one proof that it doesn't necessarily have to be homecooked. And still be healthy I mean.

Ah yes, subway. The place that has the bread that cannot even be legally called bread in some places due to the amount of sugar in it?

Yes, you can use them to buy an XBL subscription. Load the GC to your MS account, then activate the subscription from your console or PC and you should be able to have the subscription amount deducted from your account balance instead of using your credit card or bank account.

Is there a way to use this to buy Xbox live? I guess you would have to buy it directly from MS so probably about the same as buying it from Newegg for $50
You can use it for xbox live or even to buy stuff from the Microsoft store. I bought a laptop that way.

These can be used to purchase anything from MS online. You can even use it to buy MS phones & MS Laptops. Great deal

Are Microsoft *phones* still a thing? I thought the Windows phones that died years ago were the last time MS dipped their toes into that field.

For the 2 people who have asked this question please know that the only 2 options for XBL Gold thru the dashboard are 1 month @ $9.99, or 3 months @ $24.99 which is absolutely ridiculous. For my money Newegg is the ONLY way to go. If u absolutely can't afford $50 get a 1 or 3 month card off eBay.

I'm not from Ireland. I don't have diabetes. I think the issue is blaming the type of food too much. Personally I focus on fitness and exercise than on food types.

If u think subway is unhealthy.. that's a bit extreme.

Just FYI for anyone interested when I got this deal last year the cashier had to actually check out for the discount to appear. If you bring them a $50 GC and ask them to price check it, it will most likely show $50 respectively. Also, as some others have stated there was no limit to the amount I could buy. The DG employee wasn't even aware of the deal and they had plenty of GCs at my store. I think I bought $200 worth or something like that.

Can the PlayStation cards be used for PS Now and PlayStation Plus memberships or are these just for purchasing games? (For my son for Christmas and I get so confused by the different subscriptions at PlayStation). Thanks!
