Bought this TV from Amazon one week ago. Got the 100 day guarantee. Some claim off angle viewing isn't great. I don't sit at a 75 degree angle from it. It's incredibly bright. So bright I needed to put it in Eco mode (can't remember what they call it). Even then, it's great. And for a TV, the speakers are pretty solid. The remote is pretty basic but works well. Fair warning on depth and wall mounting. I ended up using 35mm and 40mm bolts. Quick Home Depot run and it was done. They VESA holes are deep and I wanted a good bit bolted. Screen is amazing. OS is snappy and quick. I might have just got lucky, but for the money, amazing. Only drawback is saving the box for 100 days just in case. Good luck all.

But like… my 70" Samsung 4k Smart TV was $679. Any reason why you'd spend so much more on Hisense??
Dimming Zones, HDR, peak brightness, tons of things make this better than your nameless TV...

What's the advantage of this Hisense 65" over the 7000 series Samsung 4k on sale at Target?
The 7000 series is at or just about at the bottom of Samsung's lineup. This is roughly on par with the top end of Samsung's lineup.

As for specific advantages, this is going to do much better with HDR content and also scenes with a lot of variation in brightness. Like outer space with deep blacks and bright stars.

I was about to click the last button on Amazon and seeing 75lbs held the order in cart. Amazon is giving free delivery to anywhere in the home and that alerted me. My 2010 Sony TV was less heavier than this one Frown
Lol wut? I picked up this TV and set it up myself. Also the heavier the tech usually the better quality of the tech FYI

75 degrees would result in extreme color washout and brightness issues. Pretty sure that is not the case. This TV is good for about 30 degrees and then issues however that number decreases when you get closer and increases when you sit further away. I'm about six feet away for the record.

Pretty much everything is better on the hisense, not by a little, by a lot.

I would stay away from Hisense for the reasons outlined in many TV buying guides. If you do a lick of DD you'll know this isn't a good buy.
Lol I'm not sure you're aware of how ironic this statement is (the Vast majority of reviewers/guides praise this model). Hisense is actually swinging for the fences with this offering to gain more market share over the likes of Samsung/Sony/lg who have all faltered in recent years for their tech offerings per price point. In other words this set is a steal for sub 1k compared to a Samsung QN90A for similar or even better performance in some areas.

I have a u7g and its amazing for the price. Hisense can be iffy with panels, just buy from a reputable place.
